Spit in My Eye?

Hey everyone! I am going to start off by saying that this Monday was not the best day ever. Being boring and uneventful, the day was not at all exciting. I woke up with only eight minutes to get ready for my bus! I am fast in the morning, but not THAT fast! After running around my house, I finally ended up making it out to the bus in time. One thing you have to know about me is that I hate rushing; therefore, this horrible start to my day put me in a bad mood. Then when I got to school I realized I had a meeting in the morning that I forgot about. As the day progressed, I began to feel some irritation in my eye from my right contact! It was not an unbearable pain, but it was distracting enough to make me take my contact out in the bathroom. As I tried to put my contact back in I found out that it was too dry and impossible to get in. I ended up asking my friend who also wears contacts if she had any contact solution for me to use. She responded by saying, "No Al, just spit on it." You should have seen my mouth drop! EWWWWWW. I did not want to spit on my contact. That was like licking my eye.... Since water is not good for contacts, she said spitting on it was the only way. I did as she told, but let me tell you it was NOT pleasant. I plan to carry eye drops with me in my pocket from now on!

  4. Contact lenses are made for two things for protective/correction purposes and for fashion. Moreover, these lenses are safe. Specially those disposable lenses. However, according to Arizona eye care, excessive usage of contact lenses(using more hours than prescribe time) may lead into eye infection and even blindness.
