Spring Break

Spring Break.

OHHH the two words we love to hear as our school year is winding down. I have to say, I have never wanted spring break this badly in a long time! I feel like I need a period of time for myself to relax and unwind! I haven't had free time since last summer and I miss it! Another good thing about spring break, besides the extra time, is the fact that it means summer is right around the corner! Just think about it. Once you get back from spring break April is almost over. That means you only have May and just a little bit of June left! Doesn't that just make you feel so happy? It makes me want to jump up and down. I think I will. (JUMPING AND DANCING) Anyway, I just wanted to post this small blog to remind you to have a ball over your spring break and also to let you know that summer is coming sooner then you think!

Spit in My Eye?

Hey everyone! I am going to start off by saying that this Monday was not the best day ever. Being boring and uneventful, the day was not at all exciting. I woke up with only eight minutes to get ready for my bus! I am fast in the morning, but not THAT fast! After running around my house, I finally ended up making it out to the bus in time. One thing you have to know about me is that I hate rushing; therefore, this horrible start to my day put me in a bad mood. Then when I got to school I realized I had a meeting in the morning that I forgot about. As the day progressed, I began to feel some irritation in my eye from my right contact! It was not an unbearable pain, but it was distracting enough to make me take my contact out in the bathroom. As I tried to put my contact back in I found out that it was too dry and impossible to get in. I ended up asking my friend who also wears contacts if she had any contact solution for me to use. She responded by saying, "No Al, just spit on it." You should have seen my mouth drop! EWWWWWW. I did not want to spit on my contact. That was like licking my eye.... Since water is not good for contacts, she said spitting on it was the only way. I did as she told, but let me tell you it was NOT pleasant. I plan to carry eye drops with me in my pocket from now on!

Small Mac Haul

Hey everyone! I ordered a small package of products from Mac on Sunday night and they just arrived today! The shipping was pretty quick and I am happy about that because I wanted the products for my formal dance on Friday night! I only ordered a few things, but here they are.

First I bought a l/s in Angel. Here is what it looks like on your lips! Isn't it pretty?

Next I bought my first ever Fix+ which I am super excited about! I have heard many great things about this product.

Lastly, I bought the Face and Body Foundation in C2. The shade is a teeny bit dark for me, but I am happy about it because then it will be perfect for summer!

That is it for my haul! It is small, but I am still excited about it! What do you think about these products?

M*A*S*H

Has anyone ever played the game MASH? I used to play at recess with my friends almost everyday. It was such a fun game to goof around to. It supposedly would who you would end up marrying and how many kids you were going to have. All you needed was a piece of paper, a pen, and friends. I really thought the fortune from the game would happen in my real life. Looking back on it, I feel so stupid! When I stumbled upon aMASH app for my iPhone I couldn't resist. The app is called Mash Lite and it is still as fun as I remember. The app does all the work for you so all you have to do is plug in the options and go! I hope all you iPhone and iPodTouch users go get your hands on this free app. :) It is the bomb! Haha

A Day in the Life of Alex

Hey everyone! Today I decided to do something a little bit different. I know this may sound weird, but I am going to film some of the things I do today and put them in a really cute, concise video. I am so pumped because this type of editing is the career path I want to go down! The video will only be a few minutes long, but it will span the course of my day. I think you all will love it because it will be different. I can't wait for you to see it! Hopefully it will be up next weekend for everyone. Thanks for all your support and tell me what you think in the comments below. Are you as excited as I am?
